Before you go

You can call the pharmacy to:

• tell them you were referred by NHS 111
• check the medicine is in stock

If the medicine is not available, the pharmacist must help you find it at another local pharmacy.

When you arrive

The pharmacist can:

• find out which medicine you need and how much
• check your prescription record
• ask any other questions they need to
• ask for proof of identity
